COOLING ICE MAT

Yes, the headline is correct. I bought this without properly reading the measurements. It was meant for my dog, who is a largish medium sized dog, or a smallish large dog, depending on how you look at it. Then this arrived and I had to laugh because it's pretty small. Small enough to fit inside a standard pillow case. So clearly it wouldn't work for my dog. But during the summer months, I often am turning my pillow over repeatedly at night because I wake up all sweaty. I put this cooling pad into my pillow case and it provides a cooling relief. Eventually the pad will lose its coolness, but it still is a big help.

I’ve bought countless different beds thinking that they were the problem or maybe I would just need to find the right one, but nonetheless she always prefers the cold hard floor the best over everything,(her favorite is the bathroom tile next to the tub), but since getting this she quickly learned that it was her new favorite cool spot. She’s OBSESSED with it. idk how long it will last in terms of punctures.
Giving it 5 stars but for $35 you’d think it would be a little bit bigger. My fault for not measuring but I was surprised how small the medium was. It’s perfect for her size but I do like to give her a little extra room to spread out, so I probably would have gone a size up but it’s perfect otherwise. And the smaller one is more portable too.

At first my dogs we very disinterested in it as it felt funny. My husband decided to co-op it and put it in his chair. We got XL so it's big enough to cool him from just under his scapula to just below his rear, and he is extremely delighted with how it cools. Now that the dog have watched him use it. They're a lot less hesitant, especially after a hot walk. Even though I have small dogs (8lbs) I got the XL so they can move spots on it if they need to. This is one of the best cooling pads I've tried, but all of them will heat up eventually in whatever spot is being sat on. This one took more than an hour to get hot under my husband, but it's recovery was very quick, maybe 15 minutes. And that was during a heat wave and a power outage.

Just touching it with your hand, you might feel disappointed in its coolness, but once weight is applied, it gets much cooler.

I bought this chill mat on a whim because a friend mentioned it in a Facebook post. At first, my dog turned her nose up at this new thing and didn't want to lay on it. But once we convinced her to try it out, she quickly learned its virtues! I noticed she was panting less which seemed to communicate to me that she was cooler and more comfortable. And now she chooses to lay on it all the time. We didn't even know how much we needed this cooling item, and now I'm so glad I can offer this relief to my longer-haired dog
